Denver Brewery Engagement Session – Elizabeth & Eric

Here in Denver there are breweries everywhere. Whether you’re in the city, the suburbs or headed to the mountains, you will see tons of breweries on your way. There are fruity beers, sours, IPAs, wheat beers, stouts and some breweries even have ciders and kombuchas brewed in-house. You know what else they have? Epic lighting and the perfect makings for a Denver Brewery Engagement Session.

I had the pleasure of photographing my friend and fellow photographer, Elizabeth, with her fiancé Eric at Woods Boss Brewing Company in downtown Denver as well as at the Cherry Creek Trail Bridge on Wynkoop. As many of you know, I am a city girl obsessed with photographing in downtown Denver, so I was thrilled when they shared they wanted a session downtown. There is something so special to me about creating beautiful images using the lines, shapes and architecture of the city.

As you probably guessed, Elizabeth and Eric are huge beer lovers and wanted to find a way to incorporate a Denver brewery into their engagement session. When searching around online for breweries downtown, we found an awesome brewery called Woods Boss Brewing Company that had large windows, high brick walls and an adorable patio. I was so pleased when I called over to ask for permission to shoot there, and was given a resounding yes!

Between sips of beer, cuddles, smiles and a tickle fight, we captured some of the cutest engagement photos during their engagement session. We couldn’t have had a better time in Denver, both at the brewery and the Cherry Creek Trail Bridge. I was honored to photograph such intimate and joyful moments for a friend, and loved every minute of our downtown adventure.

Elizabeth and Eric will be getting married at Breckenridge Brewery in Littleton, Colorado in October.
