Seattle Wedding Photos

There are a lot of wedding photographers in Seattle, all with different styles and preferences. From photographers who have bright and airy photos, to those who edit with earthy PNW tones, I have found my niche with colorful images that showcase the feeling of a wedding day. Along the way, I have also found some of my favorite venues that help to bring couple’s wedding visions to life.

Seattle is full of beautiful, modern, colorful and architecturally fascinating wedding venues that I am constantly inspired by. Whether you want a historic backdrop with intricate details like Union Station, or the vibrant colors of the Chihuly Garden and Glass, or an unforgettable Seattle experience on the MV Skansonia, Seattle has some of the most unique wedding venues located right in the city.

As you plan your wedding, you may want to consider the following Seattle wedding venues for your celebration. While each venue has its own unique personality and ambiance, all exceeded my expectations and have become my favorite downtown Seattle wedding venues.

Seattle Art Museum Wedding Photos

The Seattle Art Museum (SAM) is a modern downtown Seattle wedding venue with three unique spaces for ceremony, cocktail hour and the reception. With access to the gallery available for portraits, this is one of the most memorable wedding venues in Seattle if you are looking for an artistic space close to downtown that will definitely wow your guests.

JM Cellars Wedding Photos

This iconic winery wedding is a beautiful space for an outdoor ceremony and reception. Complete with greenery all around, JM Cellars makes you feel like you are having a garden party with your closest friends and family. The venue also includes a large loft space for getting ready, a hall of wine barrels, and multiple patios.

The Olympic Rooftop Pavilion Wedding Photos

The Olympic Rooftop Pavilion wedding venue is on the top floor of the Ballard Hotel in Ballard, Seattle. With views of the water from the rooftop, this fifth floor wedding venue features a covered space with skylights and chandeliers, with a wrap around patio, perfect for an intimate wedding in the bustling Ballard neighborhood.

Kiana Lodge Wedding Photos

Kiana Lodge is located in Poulsbo which can be driven to from Seattle in 1-2 hours, or accessed after a ferry to Bainbridge Island. Kiana Lodge has multiple buildings for getting ready and the reception, as well as a large main lawn used for outdoor ceremonies and cocktail hours, all right next to the water. With ample indoor and outdoor space, this venue is ready to host a wedding of any size.

Volunteer Park Conservatory Wedding Photos

Volunteer Park, located in the Capitol Hill neighborhood of Seattle, spans four blocks and contains not only the Volunteer Park Conservatory, but also the Seattle Asian Art Museum (another wedding venue), a reservoir, a wading pool, playgrounds, a tennis court, and tons of green space perfect for picnics and spending time outside. You can get married at the park, or at the conservatory, just make sure that you get a permit to reserve your space.

So I take it you’re a sucker for moments, too?
