If you’re like me, you love to spend time on Instagram. While I can get lost in baking threads just watching someone pour mirror glaze after mirror glaze on a cake, or find myself stuck staring at cute baby animals, one of my all time favorite things to look at are wedding invitation suites. From the invites, to the addressed envelopes and the RSVP cards, I just can’t say no to wedding invitations.
One of my favorite wedding invitation suite creators to follow on Instagram is Andrea of Laurel & Ivory. Andrea is not only an amazing artist, but a dear friend who I met in college. Andrea uses her talents in handwriting, design and drawing to create incredible invitations suites, vow books, and even wooden signs. In fact, she created a wooden sign that hangs above the couch in my living room!
I have had the pleasure of working with Andrea on a few styled shoots and I am always blown away by the creativity and attention to detail that she puts into each piece. She constantly goes above and beyond for each project leaving me in awe of her talent.
The first time that I worked with Andrea, we planned a styled shoot at Space Gallery in Denver. Space Gallery is one of my favorite wedding venues due to its high ceilings, industrial feel and large windows letting in ample light. Andrea went above and beyond for this shoot creating clear menu cards, a clear seating chart hanging from a copper structure (that she built!), invitations and a long scroll with lyrics on it from a love song. Andrea of Laurel & Ivory strives for perfection and uses her passion and creativity to create handmade items that are unlike anything else. If you are searching for a Denver wedding vendor to help with your wedding invitations and signage, look no further!
