Looking back on the past few months, they have been full of some amazing weddings and some epic elopements. This one in particular was gorgeous! It’s not very often that snow slowly starts to fall during a wedding ceremony on a cliff. This Maxwell Falls Evergreen Elopement was one for the books.
On a Thursday I was notified that Ashley and Drew wanted to elope…that weekend. Luckily I was available! I love getting to know my couples, so I immediately got on the phone with them to learn more about them as individuals, how they met, and why they decided to elope. From how they spoke about each other and told me about their love story, one thing became very clear; they had such a high level of respect and admiration for one another.
When Ashley and Drew arrived at Maxwell Falls for their elopement, I noticed something right away. The love I had picked up on from the phone call was evident. I saw it in how they looked at each other, how they kissed each other, how they held each other’s hand. The love that they had for one another was undeniable. They made each other laugh, made each other cry, made each other smile and clearly had immense love.
We completely lucked out with the beautiful weather for their elopement. We had the most gorgeous Colorado background of evergreens and fog. The smallest dusting of snow graced us for the ceremony and some of the couple’s portraits, showcasing Colorado’s beautiful and ever-changing weather.
I feel so fortunate to have been a part of this winter elopement. Being able to document their powerful love in such an incredible mountain setting was amazing! Their love was felt by all around them, and I am blessed to have been included. To Ashley & Drew, congratulations on your amazing Maxwell Falls Evergreen elopement. You two deserve the best!
