Cabo San Lucas Destination Wedding

As a lover of exploring new places, I enjoy being able to travel to weddings. While I primarily shoot in Colorado, I have photographed weddings around the U.S. in Houston, Santa Rosa Beach, San Francisco and Phoenix. This Cabo San Lucas destination wedding was my first wedding that I photographed outside of the U.S. and definitely one of my favorite weddings to date.

From the palm trees, to the calm waves, to the amazing pink sunsets, Cabo San Lucas is an amazing place for a destination wedding. I was constantly inspired by the colors and textures of my surroundings.

This beautiful day began with getting ready photos of the bride, Blythe, and groom, Travis, at the Pueblo Bonito Rosé Resort & Spa. After getting ready photos, we photographed their first look on a small bridge near the lobby of the hotel and continued with immediate family photos. Before the ceremony was a cocktail hour with tropical drinks and appetizers.

The ceremony space was beautifully laid out facing the beach with amazing florals on the chuppah where they were married. Before the ceremony started, white rose petals were passed out to guests to throw as the bride and groom walked down the aisle. I absolutely loved the images that I captured of the bride and groom walking back down the aisle with petals in the air.

After the ceremony, Blythe, Travis and I got to walk around on the beach to photograph their couples portraits. Multiple people stopped them to say hello or congratulations, including one couple who stopped them to take a photo.

This beautiful Cabo San Lucas destination wedding concluded with a delicious candlelit dinner right as the sun went down, followed by lots and lots of dancing. Blythe even invited guests from the hotel bar to join their dance party!

Everything about this day was lovely, from the scenery surrounding us to all of the loving moments that Blythe and Travis shared. I am so happy that I was able to document this special day for Blythe and Travis and can’t wait for my next destination wedding!
