This summer, I had the privilege of documenting Jeremy & Keller’s Skylight Denver wedding. Unlike any wedding I had done before, the couple rented a party bus to transport their wedding party to various locations for photos. Focusing on spots important to them as a couple, we celebrated the whole day every place we went.
Our first stop was a bar where Jeremy and Keller had had their first kiss. Everyone ordered drinks and mingled, and we made sure to get a shot of the two of them in the booth they sat at years previous.
Next in the tour was Cheeseman Park for formal wedding party photos, however with a group as silly as these, the “formal” photos were few and far between.
The third place we stopped at was, Tacos Tequila Whiskey, one of their favorite restaurants (and actually where we met for the first time after they had inquired). They wanted to get a few photos inside, but the bartender insisted they took a shot and even let myself and my second shooter get behind the bar for better photos!
Renegade Brewery was the last stop in the Denver tour, just a few blocks away from Skylight. Everyone had a beer and watched as the rain began to pour outside. As the clouds parted, everyone ran back to the venue just minutes before the ceremony began.
After the ceremony and signing of the marriage license, the reception began. Mountain Crust began cooking their pizzas, and guests began drinking and mingling, utilizing the photo booth provided by Create & Capture Photobooth. After dinner, Jeremy and Keller danced with their moms and had their first dance complete with a confetti rain compliments of their wedding party’s confetti canons. Everyone danced the night away, jamming to tunes by the Diamond Empire Band.
I loved being a part of Jeremy & Keller’s Skylight Denver wedding, full of their favorite people and their favorite places.
