The Terrace at Colorado Center wedding venue is located on Colorado Boulevard next to Dave & Busters and features an expansive view of Denver. This gorgeous rooftop terrace was the spot that Elizabeth & Clayton chose to have their summer wedding ceremony. Even though there was ample rain throughout the day, these two embraced it and had the most memorable day.
Elizabeth and Clayton spent their morning getting ready at The Crawford Hotel in Denver Union Station. While the girls were finishing hair and makeup, the gentlemen were having drinks at the Terminal Bar. Elizabeth got into her dress with the help of her friends and headed out for the first look. The couple had a first look next to Union Station and then travelled to the Colorado Center for their ceremony.
Guests began arriving, taking the elevator all the way up to the rooftop. As the time came for the ceremony, ominous clouds were overhead making the sky an even more beautiful sight. With a slight drizzle, the ceremony began. Elizabeth walked down the aisle with her father to her groom. The ceremony was short and sweet and finished just as the rain began to pick up.
As the cocktail hour began, Elizabeth and Clayton happily ran back outside to play in the rain and get portraits of the two of them together. These two weren’t phased in the slightest by the rain and took it as a sign of good luck for their marriage. After portraits, the couple rejoined their guests for cocktail hour and mingling before dinner. The evening concluded with a special dinner and desserts.
