As a wedding photographer, I’ve had the privilege of witnessing countless love stories unfold through the lens of my camera. Each wedding I photograph is unique, but Jade and Jordan’s wedding at the Olympic Rooftop Pavilion was something truly special. These two incorporated so many beautiful, modern, and personalized touches to make this day their own.
Jade and Jordan’s love story began at Hotel Ballard, an elegant boutique nestled in Seattle’s Ballard neighborhood. This charming hotel is the perfect blend of luxury and comfort, providing an idyllic setting for couples to prepare for their special day. I accompanied Jade as he got ready in one of the suites alongside a few of his friends, and got to observe the preparations to the reception space next door on the rooftop.
Our journey continued to Volunteer Park, a beautiful park in the heart of Seattle. The park’s lush landscapes set the stage for Jade and Jordan’s first look and portraits, after which we found shade under a giant old tree, the site of their intimate ceremony. As a complete dog lover, one of my favorite parts was that they had someone bring their two dogs to witness their ceremony!
After the ceremony concluded, we returned to Hotel Ballard and made our way upstairs. The rooftop was transformed with vibrant florals and modern signage welcoming everyone to the space. Above the table were rafters adorned with greenery and hanging chandeliers, all working to complete the stunning decor.
Jade and Jordan’s wedding at the Olympic Rooftop Pavilion was a day that perfectly encapsulated two iconic Seattle spots, complimented with unique elements of the couple. Their love story stands as a testament to the power of individuality and personal touches in crafting a wedding day that’s uniquely yours. It was an honor to be their photographer, capturing the moments that will forever define their love story.
