One of my favorite venues of all time is Moss Denver, located in the Santa Fe Arts District. This industrial wedding venue has a modern feel, but still is welcoming and warm. Sarah and Michael got ready at AirBnBs, had their wedding ceremony at Holy Ghost Church and ended their night with a wedding reception at Moss Denver.
Our day began with Sarah getting ready at a local AirBnB. I photographed a few of her details and then headed over to photograph Michael getting ready with his guys. Complete with beers, football and a slew of McDonald’s cheeseburgers (definitely my favorite shot), hanging out with the guys was a blast.
From getting ready, we headed to Holy Ghost Church for Sarah and Michael’s wedding ceremony. The couple didn’t do a first look, so Michael saw Sarah for the first time while walking down the aisle. Michael’s reaction was definitely the sweetest and most genuine I have ever seen. Michael’s best man (and brother), reached over to comfort him while his eyes filled up with tears.
The Catholic wedding ceremony included speeches, prayers, songs and giving roses to Mary. The church was beautifully decorated for the holidays and was a gorgeous place to photograph.
From the church, we headed over to their wedding reception at Moss Denver. I was blown away by the gorgeous decor and design elements that they incorporated into their wedding. My favorite was the tiny scrolls of paper with the guest’s names handwritten and draped over a glass of champagne. I had never seen this done before and thought it was beautiful touch.
The evening ended with dancing and a sparkler exit. Sarah and Michael left in a getaway car complete with their own bottle of champagne.
I loved being a part of this gorgeous Denver wedding while second shooting with Brittany Renee Photo. Are you having a wedding ceremony or wedding reception at Moss Denver? Click here to see more images from Moss Denver.
